With a durable carbon black alloy, the acclaimed puncture protection system and DuraSkin® cut protection, Gatorskin, formerly known as the Ultra
Gatorskin, is a true long-hauler. Thanks to its multiple width options, it is suitable for commuting, road training,
recreational riding and marathon cycling. The Gatorskin is a hugely popular tyre at a reasonable price, and it is now also available in folding sizes
28-622 and 32-622.

With the help of PolyX Breaker® technology, we apply the know-how of the passenger car industry to bicycle tyres. Polyester has been used in car tyres for years,
where it has proven to work. The highly durable polyester fibers are tightly cross-woven. This achieves a high material density, which makes
the protection highly resistant to both foreign objects and punctures. PolyX Breaker® does not reduce the rolling resistance of the tire.
DuraSkin®
tyres with DuraSkin® reinforced sidewalls must be able to absorb shocks, as they are used in the most challenging conditions.
In courier use, the tires rub against the curbs of the streets, and in touring bikes, they cross continents without wearing. In competitive cycling, they have to
withstand the toughest tests, such as Paris-Roubaix. The high-quality polyamide material protects the tyre carcass from the worst conditions.
These rings are easily recognizable thanks to their brown sides.
